Mental wellbeing
We'd like to repair the clubhouse roof and floodlights, enabling more people to play rugby, and for the community to be able to use it more. Floodlights will also help with starting new women's teams.
About this cause
Our mission is to provide a sporting and friendly environment to the local community; we provide an inclusive environment to all our members from diverse backgrounds. Our motto is that everyone plays and we want them to be a part of our family and team. The club gives children the opportunity and support to make friends, and the sport helps them gain confidence in themselves and in supporting others.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Our goal is to enable more people to take part in sports, and also for community clubs of other sports and hobbies to use the facilities. With a grant to pay for these projects we can increase the ringfencing of monies for our hardship fund, and be able to offer disadvantaged children the chance to take part in rugby.
