SiMBA, Simpsons Memory Box Appeal
Mental wellbeing
We would like to create a community gardening group for those affected by baby loss. We teach new skills, reduce isolation and enhance the area around the Tree of Tranquillity.
About this cause
We are here to support anyone affected by the loss of a baby during pregnancy or shortly after birth. We donate memory boxes, refurbish family rooms within hospitals, install memorial Trees of Tranquillity, provide face-to-face and online support, hold annual awareness events and we deliver free bereavement training for healthcare professionals and students.

How this cause brings people in the community together
The original pathways for the Tree of Tranquillity were created with support from students from Oban High School, and we would like our community gardening group to involve as many families and young people as we can. It will improve wellbeing by giving them access to learn a new skill in a safe environment.
