Access to food
We have acquired a converted bus which we'd like to fit out as the hub for PCA; as a central point for our operations and a place available for running events, supporting everyone in the community.
About this cause
We're a group who wants to bring the community together to reduce inequality and enhance the quality of life for residents in the Pewsey area. We want to build on the community spirit which came together during the pandemic, by making sure that those most vulnerable in our community are not left behind and that we all stay socially connected.
How this cause brings people in the community together
We want to build on the Pewsey spirit, which came about during the pandemic, by supporting the most vulnerable and developing activities to stay socially connected. This will be achieved by: providing essential food boxes and fresh hot meals; distributing donations from local shops and individuals; hosting a friendship cafe, market and library; and buddy support.
