People: Improving people’s mental wellbeing
We would like to begin a Kindness Crew for people we support in our St Albans community. They will work with partners to identify and help people who may benefit from help or friendship.
About this cause
The Camphill Village Trust helps adults with learning and other disabilities to lead a life of opportunity.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The Kindness Crew will bring friendship and support to people in St Albans who are at risk of loneliness and isolation. Taking on tasks to help them and spending time developing friendships will bring people together to improve collective wellbeing. The Crew will wear yellow socks to show support for the Co-op backed Lonely Not Alone campaign.
