We are raising funds to develop The Accessible Workshop which gives autistic individuals and people with learning disabilities a creative and entrepreneurial outlet.
About this cause
We support all autistic individuals and people with a learning disability to embrace new opportunities that allow them to lead fulfilling lives and actively contribute to their local community. In The Accessible Workshop, our members learn woodworking skills and create items they can be proud of. Participants learn how to plan and manage projects, as well as how to market and sell.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The Accessible Workshop allows autistic individuals and people with a learning disability to work as part of a team on creative projects. The income generated is reinvested back into the group, or used to aid charitable partners we work with.
