About this cause
We're a group that wants to support older people to access digital technologies to improve the quality of their lives making later life better for them. For the older people, their physical and mental health has taken a toll from being socially isolated with families unable to support their elder relatives or visit them. It has had a detrimental effect on a lot of older people’s resilience and wellbeing.
How this cause brings people in the community together
We enable the older people in the community to function in the world of needing access to the internet day-to-day and enabling them to feel connected to their support systems of family and friends. We have seen people grow in confidence and become equipped for a world that unavoidably has changed for good as many services continue to develop more remote interactions with clients.
