People: Improving people’s mental wellbeing
We plan to provide safe access to our stage/performance area to all following the best guidance and advice possible so that no barriers exist for anyone wanting to be part of our community group.
About this cause
We're a group who want to ensure that our stage/performing space is fully accessible for people of any and all abilities. Currently our stage has 4 access points of which only one has a ramp to provide disabled access. This needs upgrading and another access point made equally accessible.
How this cause brings people in the community together
This project will demonstrate that our group reaches out and welcomes people of all ages and abilities and values their involvement and contributions to our diverse and rich local community. By feeling fully involved in our activities we aim to build confidence and skills for any and all who would like to be part of our varied amateur productions.
