We would like to offer crisis intervention and emotional support to people who are victims of domestic abuse, or at high risk of harm.
About this cause
We're a group who want to work with victims of domestic abuse, by offering crisis intervention and the best support that we can provide. This funding would allow us to provide what is most needed, according to each client's individual needs. Whether this be, for example, by providing vouchers for food or a bed to sleep in.
How this cause brings people in the community together
We will build on the support we gave during 2020/21 to high-risk victims of domestic abuse across the county. We continued to run our Safelives Leading Lights accredited service throughout the pandemic, by supporting anyone aged 16+ who was deemed at high risk. We work with a range of community partners to support victims from a diverse range of backgrounds which reflect our local communities.
