We would like to provide a structured bereavement support programme for local people, following the loss of a loved one.
About this cause
We want to enable everyone with life-limiting illnesses to choose how they are cared for and receive exceptional palliative care at the end of life.
How this cause brings people in the community together
When a person grieves, talking about and sharing feelings can help. Bereavement can leave some people socially isolated and struggling to cope on their own. Even those with friends and family can find it difficult to discuss how they feel. This project will bring together recently bereaved people in similar situations to share their experiences, learn coping techniques, and support one another.
