Rowan
People: Improving people’s mental wellbeing
Rowan Rangers enables our students to connect with their environment through a wide range of activities including den building, wildlife spotting and creating artwork inspired by nature.

About this cause
Rowan is a small, vibrant, independent, registered charity providing an arts centre and forest school for adults with learning disabilities in Cambridgeshire and the adjoining counties. We believe that people living with a disability should have the same choice, quality of life, opportunities and aspirations as others.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Rowan Rangers offers our community greater choice and opportunities, which are often limited for people with learning disabilities. Prejudice towards people with disability will be addressed and barriers to access, participation and inclusion will start to be broken down. Rowan Rangers helps to improve the health, wellbeing and education of local people with learning disabilities.
