Mental wellbeing
We would like to provide a space for parents and carers to come together and reduce isolation, particularly among new parents. We offer a safe space for children to learn, play and socialise.
About this cause
We offer support to parents by facilitating a safe friendly space where they can meet to reduce loneliness and isolation in early parenthood. By offering a variety of activities, we are able to support the socialisation skills of young children and promote the development of language skills, all of which were severely impacted during the pandemic.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The project reduces isolation of parents and carers and offers a space for them to meet and socialise, supporting their mental health and wellbeing. We offer engaging activities for children and babies, supporting their development, as well as promoting language skills. We aim to bridge the gap in learning, caused by the pandemic, and reduce anxiety in parents.
