About this cause
We're a group who, within our broader remit of representing the interests of the residents of the village of Balfron, want to continue with the essential facility offered in the last year by the Balfron Phone Box Food Exchange into the future.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The project has been a great success in the last year and has shown that there is a substantial and on-going desire to show compassion and solidarity within the community. As a result, members of our community have benefitted in being discretely able to obtain food for their families, allowing them to maintain their physical and mental wellbeing.
