We aim to pay a professional for a marketing plan and for the tools we need to recruit volunteer drivers, to help older and vulnerable people access health, social and other services.
About this cause
We offer a door to door, volunteer transport service to help people to stay independent, take part in their communities and access vital services. Our scheme often represents the only means of transport for many vulnerable and isolated people, often older people or people with disabilities.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Our project uses local volunteers to make a real difference to the lives of local people, helping them to access local services and to take part in their communities. The project helps to reduce loneliness and isolation and contributes to our clients' health and wellbeing. More volunteers will help us to reach more people and help them to remain independent and access their communities.
