We'll develop in-person and online workshops for young people to help them grow in confidence and creativity, to improve their mental health and to become more resilient in a post-Covid world.
About this cause
The Studio Theatre is home to Moffat Youth Theatre, which has helped young people develop their confidence, creativity and imagination for 30 years. We also run classes for women and host workshops by emerging Scottish performance artists. We encourage our participants to connect to their creativity and explore how their imagination and compassion can transform today's complex world for the better.
How this cause brings people in the community together
We offer engaging activities for young people in a rural area with an older demographic and limited opportunities for the young. We aim to develop emotional intelligence in our participants that they can exercise in every part of their lives. We hear regularly that our young students are confident, compassionate, creative and able to engage with people of all ages in school and the community.
