About this cause
Lady Zia Wernher School Fund aims to generate additional funds to support the school to deliver outstanding learning opportunities. All pupils have severe or profound learning difficulties. Additionally, pupils may have physical, sensory and communication impairment, autism and/or complex medical needs. We enable all to be the best they can be, to improve and impact lives.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Pupils come from across Luton and the surrounding counties. The sensory garden will draw together parents, carers and volunteers to share in the pupils' learning. The ongoing project will create opportunities for inclusion with the local mainstream schools. This area will be used by our affiliated charities that provide support out of hours to children with SEND and their families.
