Edinburgh Tool Library
Mental wellbeing
We would like to continue providing DIY and woodwork opportunities for vulnerable people in the community. Our project teaches new skills and promotes a togetherness that improves quality of life.
About this cause
The Edinburgh Tool Library gives local people access to tools to improve the spaces and communities in which they live. By sharing, they save money and reduce their carbon footprint. The Tool Library also coordinates classes, programmes and volunteer builds for other charities and disadvantaged groups around the city.

How this cause brings people in the community together
This project will bring together volunteers from ETL with the project partners to teach skills, build confidence and leave a legacy of access to equipment. Working together on focused tasks is a great way to foster collaboration and learning, and the end result is valuable to the project partners.
