We plan to develop our food growing activities and improve community access to our facility for local people.
About this cause
We're a group who want to provide a welcoming community facility for people to grow their own produce, share skills and improve their health and wellbeing. We work with park user groups to develop eco-friendly projects which promote the local environment and are accessible for local people. We are at the final stages of completing fully accessible toilets and cabins for community use.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The last year has been a challenge for everyone. We want to support the community to meet in small groups and reconnect with the outdoors in a safe, friendly environment. We want to grow our community programme through our food events, craft days and outdoor activities. We will improve our community areas and facilities so they are accessible for local people and families.
