Caxton House Community Centre
Access to food
We would like to run food-growing gardening sessions and cooking classes for groups and families. We will focus on waste-reducing recipes, cooking on a budget and storage tips for leftovers.

About this cause
Caxton House Community Centre is a long established, multi-purpose community hub that provides a wide range of diverse, innovative and community led services and projects. Our activities include dance, exercise, arts and crafts, under 5s stay-and-play, IT drop-in, various sports, education, employment support, advice, gardening, cooking, and a range of annual events.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Our project will benefit all our communities as we have a range of cooking and gardening sessions to suit different abilities and age ranges, with raised growing beds and an accessible kitchen area. Our classes aim to promote healthy choices, support residents with access to food, reduce waste and improve life skills.
