Mental wellbeing
We'd like to increase the number of counselling appointments available to the community. We'd do this by renting premises for longer periods and paying qualified counsellors to provide extra sessions.
About this cause
We offer affordable (donation based) professional counselling to people in the community who may need help with depression, anxiety, stress, loneliness, abuse, trauma and other issues. Our purpose is to support the mental health and wellbeing of the community and to provide the maximum number of one-to-one appointments as possible.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The mental health and wellbeing of our community is our priority, and thus we wish to provide the maximum number of appointments for one-to-one support as is practically possible. We also rely on members of the community volunteering to provide receptionist and trustee support.
