About this cause
We're a local infant school that wants to improve the outdoor learning experiences for our Key Stage 1 pupils with shelter and exciting activities. We are looking to develop this under-used piece of land by providing some sheltered areas, storage and exciting educational activities for the pupils. School is aware of the additional benefits of learning outside the classroom environment.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The chosen area is at the front of our school premises and can be clearly seen. We would like to transform this area from a rundown piece of land to a bright and fun environment to bring warmth to the community. Pupils who get to experience an outdoor learning environment tend to be more attentive and, therefore, have a better recollection of the information that was shared.
