We aim to rescue even more surplus food from landfill, looking after the environment by gifting it away, signposting those experiencing hardship while strengthening community and green space.
About this cause
We're a group who gifts surplus food, looking after our environment. We want those who need food to have it and cook for their families and friends. We rescue food that would otherwise have gone to landfill and contributed to global warming. We welcome everybody and offer a comfortable, community space for relationships to grow.

How this cause brings people in the community together
Using our green spaces to pop up our market stall, we improve and protect biodiversity and ecology, building community in the areas we visit. Visitors enjoy meeting new people and spending time outdoors, many having been isolated during the pandemic. Relationships form with many looking after others. We offer support and signposting in addition to food. We provide a comfortable community space.
