Mental wellbeing
We wish to be able to provide much-needed counselling and mental health support to those people in our community that need it but wouldn't otherwise be able to financially access this help.
About this cause
We're a group that wants to improve mental health and wellbeing in the local community of Bromley. We provide low-cost, accessible counselling to enable people to work to improve their mental health, gain confidence and to get the help they need and deserve. The donation-only service helps us to encompass the whole catchment area including areas of social deprivation and disadvantage.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Helping one person improve their mental health has a huge knock-on effect of the families, friends and work colleagues of that person, so it is far-reaching. It gives confidence and encouragement which is infectious and saves peoples lives. It can help people gain the confidence to re-enter the workplace and make a social and economic difference.
