About this cause
We provide mental health support and friendship through a range of activities. We have a men's group, a meditation and mindfulness group, an art group and a weekly drop-in session. We are peer led and run. We use lived experience to help and encourage members to take an active role.
How this cause brings people in the community together
As our services are free to access and people can self-refer, we are able to support those on the waiting list for mental health support. We work from lived experience, which means we are able to empathise and help find solutions, signpost and advise from a place of experience. We are also able to offer peer support, providing a support network based on friendship and common experience.
