We want to buy some equipment to be able to use the forest area effectively and to allow the community groups such as Beavers and Boys Brigade to access the area.
About this cause
The PTFA supports the children in school and their families to ensure they get the most opportunities in their education. It also supports groups in the community, enabling them to use the school facilities by purchasing equipment. The PTFA has also run events for the school and community such as Christmas fairs, summer fairs and entertainment evenings.
How this cause brings people in the community together
There will be an opportunity for children and adults to have time alone or with friends to reflect on the difficulties they have faced during the pandemic. It will also help build children's resilience as they learn to work together again, sharing their ideas through role-play. Community groups will be able to access the outdoor space to build relationships with one another again.
