Pending display name

Due to weight restrictions on our existing ponies, we would like to buy an additional pony so that we are able to cater for more riders, including adults, and offer a wider range of activities.

About this cause

The group, formed in 1971, is a voluntary specialist therapeutic service for Blairgowrie and the surrounding area. Its purpose is to enable people with disabilities to ride for the benefit of their health and wellbeing and to achieve their personal goals. Activities have varied from time to time, but at present we offer riding sessions for special needs children from primary schools.

How this cause brings people in the community together

During coronavirus, enquiries from adults and parents in the area regarding our services and facilities have been received. We have been running for 50 years and are an important and valued part of the community, but one that is hugely reliant on donations. With an additional pony and equipment, we would be able to offer supplementary riding lessons, further enhancing community spirit.
