We will develop health and wellbeing activities around horticulture, arts, crafts and exercise, and make them in-house to enable remote engagement with our community-based activities.

About this cause
We support the homeless community in Rochdale. The Petrus hub day service provides frontline support to people with multiple complex needs and our residential services house 100 people. We offer longer-term therapeutic activities to the whole community, such as PIER, which delivers therapeutic horticulture at our large community garden and is open to the public, schools and community groups.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Our clients have expressed that they feel isolated as a result of the pandemic and have experienced a decline in their health and wellbeing. They've also indicated they would like to engage in in-house wellbeing activities to give them a route into or remain connected and involved in our community-based projects.
