About this cause
Established in 1982 to help create a more inclusive society, Accessible Arts & Media runs inclusive learning projects, engaging over 800 people a year. Projects include: singing and signing choirs; creative sensory sessions for people with mental ill health, people living with dementia and people with complex needs; and media projects that help people share their stories.
How this cause brings people in the community together
iMUSE is a one-to-one therapeutic multi-sensory experience that has a profound impact on wellbeing. Combining relaxation techniques, music-making and creating visuals, it helps people feel less anxious and focus their minds, express feelings without words and connect with others. The new kits will enable people who are anxious, ill or socially isolated to access wellbeing support at home.
