We'd like to offer counselling sessions free of charge to younger people, focusing on those aged 14-25, and recruit a family worker to offer a Mums Matter service and work with all family members.
About this cause
Conwy Mind offers mental health support to people across Conwy County. It was established in 1985. Conwy Mind is affiliated to National Mind, though we are a standalone charity responsible for our own funding. We offer a range of services including active monitoring, talking therapies, training, support hubs, on-to-one support, signposting, and peer support.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Our project will support families and young people whose issues have either developed through Covid-19 or have been compounded by the subsequent restrictions. Through offering the counselling and training services, we will be able to support families and young people across rural and coastal communities whose mental health has been affected.
