It is the only place I can be myself and not feel judged'. 'It has been such a relief for me to talk to other family members in the group'.

How this cause brings people in the community together

Brain injury can devastate lives, shatter families and leave people in desperate need of support. Every 90 seconds someone is admitted to hospital in the UK with an acquired brain injury. People are often discharged from hospital with no guidance on what to expect or support on how to cope. The Headway Hub will provide a much needed respite service for people with an acquired brain injury and their families, as well as a permanent base for expanding the services we currently provide.
