St. James Church Hall
Wellbeing
We would like radiator covers to protect children and the elderly, and also to improve our accessible toilets and storage facility.

About this cause
The hall is the primary social space available in the village. We offer people the chance to participate in adult exercise classes for different ages and abilities, Scouts, Cubs and Beavers, a drop-in coffee morning, a craft group, a mother/carer baby group, food bank collections. Hire is available for events, eg craft fairs and birthday parties. Church fairs and socials are also well attended.
How this cause brings people in the community together
We are discussing how we can reopen. The groups using the hall are waiting for the go-ahead, and we will do everything we can to help them become re-established. We are confident that the hall will be the centre of activity once again, and look forward to welcoming all age groups. The church has continued to organise the food bank collection point in the Co-op store and will still do so.
