About this cause

The training centre is a local hub providing space for community groups and social enterprises, including RAMH (Recovery Across Mental Health), Veloworld, Cosgrove Care and charity FemFoods, to store food parcels. We responded quickly to Covid-19, moving many events and programmes online. The easing of restrictions will enable us to support local community recovery and wellbeing.

How this cause brings people in the community together

The centre is widely used by local community gardening and cycling groups and by local pupils to learn about business and the environment. By bringing it back into safe use, we will help the local community and schools to recover from Covid-19 by providing more opportunities for positive mental health and wellbeing, as well as more space for outdoor education.
