About this cause
We are a grassroots, female-dedicated football club serving Rugby and the surrounding areas, with members from the age of 4 - open age. We promote friendship, teamwork, inclusion, and mental wellbeing as well as the physical benefits of learning skills and playing football. We currently have eight teams from U8 to our Senior Women's team.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Many girls, young people and women have been separated from their school friends, work friends and peer group for a long time. Getting the club up and running and providing opportunity to grow and increase teams means being able to offer more girls and women the chance to socialise, keep fit and make new friends, which will have a positive physical and mental impact.
