About this cause

Our mission is to improve the mental, social and physical wellbeing of everyone in the community, with a particular focus on educating young people about farm life and the environment. We work with the whole community with an emphasis on young people in Gospel Oak and the surrounding area; people with learning, physical and mental disabilities in Camden; and Camden school children.

How this cause brings people in the community together

Young farmers are recruited from the dense estates surrounding the farm. Our programme teaches young people from disadvantaged homes important life skills including self confidence, following direction, teamwork, mentoring and the importance of volunteering your time to a community project. During lockdown, young farmers kept in touch and supported each other.
