About this cause

Rochester Film Society screens the best in independent and world cinema, and British films, fortnightly on Tuesday evenings at the Huguenot Museum on Rochester High Street. We also screen classic French films as well as Saturday morning children’s cinema, both biannually. We are in the centre of the local community, with patrons able to walk up to the venue from the surrounding areas of Medway.

How this cause brings people in the community together

The films we have programmed reflects the diverse nature of our community. We have screened Polish films, we celebrate Black History Month, International Women's Day, and Holocaust Memorial Day. We screen LGBT films and films tackling social issues. We will strive to maximise our inclusivity for this project and welcome volunteers from all sections of society.
