About this cause
We provide support and respite for families of vulnerable children who have complex health issues across the North West, specialising in heart defects and feeding issues. Our home support bridges the gap between hospital and home, providing much-needed assistance to parents who become 24/7 unpaid carers for their sick children, easing isolation and building resilience.
How this cause brings people in the community together
We use support workers within the community as well as accessing local services/activities. We give communities the opportunity to support each other, learn about each other's needs and understand each other's differences. Through these difficult times, our families are extremely vulnerable and the support of their community is vital to their wellbeing.
