About this cause
We provide advice and support and reduce the social isolation faced by both brain injury survivors and their families. We offer education in a format that is personalised and understandable to empower them to rebuild their lives. We connect individuals living with brain injury, facing similar barriers and facilitate friendships and support, which offers a sense of belonging.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Our membership is made of individuals who have sustained a brain injury, plus their family members. Locally there is very little statutory support available for these often physically and cognitively compromised individuals. The grant would enable a wider reach into our local community by enabling us to increase support capacity.
