CrawleyLGBT raises awareness for our town's LGBTQ+ community. We will be hosting a LGBTQ+ hub in The County Mall to advance our research and support. This project requires purchases to set up the hub.

About this cause

CrawleyLGBT raises awareness for the LGBTQ+ community in our town to promote Crawley as a safe place and create a sense of belonging. We are planning and managing an annual Crawley Pride (2021) event to support the educational and advisory services of CrawleyLGBT. As an inclusive organisation, we will be sign-posting, supporting and advocating for members of all ages in our community.

How this cause brings people in the community together

Not only have we advanced our official plans for an annual pride community event, we have also been asked to organise social gatherings for each letter of the community LGBTQ+. All events will follow Covid-19 guidelines to reduce coronavirus transmissions. Our online profile has influenced over 70,000 people and as we pull through this pandemic, we will use our platforms positively.
