We are a local registered charitable incorporated organisation who is actively seeking to improve services in all areas of the lives of children and young people with disabilities or additional needs. We are here for parents and carers of children and young people aged 0—25 years with a disability or additional needs. We are all parents and carers of children and young people with disabilities /additional needs or have significant relevant knowledge of this area. We have a committee of trustees supported by a Chair, but our greatest asset is the open forum group of parents and carers who are fundamental to our purpose. We also run the Orton Goldhay Community Centre which allows us to work with Peterborough residents, providing opportunities for support and inclusion.
We provide events on a weekly basis by having activities for all ages. People support the work and look for ways to sustain the activities when funding is no longer available. We work with local education establishments to provide courses to up skill people and help them find employment, promoting well-being.
