We plan to renovate the main hall to make the space at Harden Memorial Hall more appealing to the community.
About this cause
Harden pre-school offers a well-established, highly valued and outstanding childcare service within the community of Harden and the surrounding areas. We are currently taking over Harden Memorial Hall from Bradford Council as a community asset transfer to ensure the building remains open for the pre-school, current users and the rest of the community. The current users are the pre-school, after-school club, Brownies, the Parish Council and the Harden Children's Gala Committee. We want to make it more appealing and accessible for other groups to use the premises on weekends and evenings. We also have a group planning to use the space for a holiday club. Once the community asset transfer is complete it will be our responsibility for the upkeep and maintenance of these premises.
How this cause brings people in the community together
This project will make the main hall of Harden Memorial Hall more appealing to the community. We hope more members of the community will want to use the hall for groups, parties and get-togethers. Once our community asset transfer is complete, we also hope to hold community events in the hall.
