About this cause
The trust exists to preserve, conserve and protect the historic gardens of Easton Lodge and their bio-diversity for the enjoyment of the public, by: maintaining the gardens’ ambience; protecting and renovating the gardens’ historic structures; enabling access and providing educational opportunities for the public. The trust will operate effectively and in line with best practice for small organisations.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The local and wider community visit our gardens near Little Easton on open days. We also open the gardens for group visits by gardeners, historians, schools, mental health charities and other societies. We provide guided tours to these groups, and on open days, so that the local and wider community can appreciate the interesting history, significance and setting of these historical gardens.
