We are dedicated to celebrating community and bringing people together, from all backgrounds and all faiths. We aim to bring dignity and personal wellbeing to people on one of the most disadvantaged housing estates in our city. We are a church and we implement community projects, e.g. Community Fridge: In the first 2 months of operation, 1.4 tonnes of food have been redirected from landfill to people in the community; MK Storehouse: We provide high quality donated clothing, free of charge, to adults and children, who are in need. Youth and Children: We run activities for children and youth, 3 times a week. Wellbeing mornings: On the first Saturday of each month, we offer various free activities such as pampering, arts and crafts, counsel, colouring, carpentry, etc.
Netherfield Chapel provides a haven, from which we offer community services to people living in a very disadvantaged area. We provide a great community hub and resource. This project will bring people together through a process of visioning and planning to improve the kitchen for our community activities at coffee'n'chat, Community Fridge, youth club, homeless shelter and wellbeing morning.
