About this cause

We aim to inspire, encourage, connect, and support our community and to create initiatives that encourage people and organisations to work towards a sustainable way of living. We have several ongoing projects, including a project to plant up to 3000 fruit trees throughout the town to preserve Cheshire heritage fruit varieties, improve air quality, and to enable future food security.

How this cause brings people in the community together

The project will bring local schoolchildren and their teachers and families together during the planting process. We will plant the fruit tree guilds either in school grounds or, where space is limited, at the nearest suitable open location. The harvest will benefit the local community and plans are to include an annual community apple-pressing day as a celebration for everyone to enjoy.
