About this cause
Wirral Hospice St John’s is an adult hospice and has provided over 30 years of care for our community. We provide care and support for patients with cancer, dementia, heart, liver and kidney disease, and respiratory and neurological conditions where curative treatment is no longer possible. We are a small hospice with a big heart; we make a difference to the quality of people's lives, enabling them to live rather than exist.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Our Build and Banter sessions would enable our bereavement team to engage with men from our local community. While taking part in group activities, members will be encouraged to have conversations while making things for the hospice. Group activities will encourage people who have been isolated to make friends, open up, and talk about their feelings while being creative.
