At 4th Washington Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, we help nearly 100 young people aged 6-14 enjoy fun and adventure, while developing the skills they need to succeed. These skills include teamwork, leadership and resilience, all of which have helped Scouts become everything from teachers and social workers, to astronauts and Olympians. We help young people develop and improve key life skills. We celebrate diversity and stand against intolerance. We’re part of a worldwide movement, creating stronger communities and inspiring positive futures.
The minibus will allow our most vulnerable members to attend all of our sessions, giving them the opportunity to fully develop in line with Scouting values. In addition, we will offer the minibus to other local community groups and charities, at a reduced cost, to enable other groups to fulfill their potential.
