We would like to improve the condition of our paddocks, to give the animals a better quality of life and enhance the visitor experience.
About this cause
We are an animal rescue centre and sanctuary employing 17 local people and a team of 30 local adult volunteers. We have 18 young volunteers who help us on Sundays. We take youngsters on the Duke of Edinburgh Award, and on work experience from local schools and colleges. Community groups such as Breathe Easy and disability support groups are regular visitors to the sanctuary.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The improvements will enable us to continue giving the animals a good quality of life, which makes the experience for the visitors more enjoyable. It will also enhance the time our volunteers and staff spend with the animals.
