About this cause
We are an organisation run by volunteers, and we support those suffering from any form of dementia and their carers. We hold 3 drop-in clubs a week for carers. Every month we take them on an outing, such as a riverboat trip, Kew Gardens, a weekend away, Saturday lunch club, and more. We aim to achieve a friendly social club for carers, to show that they are not alone.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Looking after a loved one with dementia can be a very lonely time. There are 3 stages of dementia: early onset, middle and late. All stages cause heartbreak to families. Our aim is to give them a happy social life together for as long as we can. We bring together as many dementia carers in our community that we can.
