Kenward Trust has been providing recovery, rehabilitation and reintegration services to people affected by alcohol and substance addiction and homelessness for over 50 years. We are nationally recognised for our strong successful outcomes in helping people begin their journey towards a life free from alcohol and substance addiction. Our Kenward in the Community team deliver alcohol and substance education and early intervention projects to young people between the ages of 12-18 in Kent. We are passionate about our work and helping individuals to transform their lives by avoiding dependence upon drugs and alcohol.
Our Social Enterprise Programme offers our residents the opportunity to gain experience, training, and employability skills. Residents take part in voluntary work, including gardening, which helps to improve confidence and self esteem, develop positive attitudes and aspirations towards work and their future. It also increases the likelihood of successful reintegration into the community.
