We want to repair Carr Lane, an important strategic link in our rights of way network, so people can have safe access to the countryside.
About this cause
Our aim is to keep local bridleway routes open and properly maintained to give riders access to safe, off-road riding, allowing people of all ages to enjoy the great outdoors and a healthier lifestyle. We aim to promote these routes to encourage young riders to use them and to preserve them for future generations.
How this cause brings people in the community together
It brings together horse riders including 3 riding schools in our area who teach children, young people and adults included those who are disabled to ride, promoting health & well-being. It brings the local community together and we have connected with local people, walkers/ ramblers groups and mountain bikers. We've also connected with the local high school.
