About the Project

We hope to engage the younger children with the older learners and so help them see that they can work together and thus feel the land becomes an area they want to protect and develop together alongside sharing ideas together. Using the iPads we would hope to develop a visual picture which we could display in the local community and/or schools to show this co-operation.

About the Charity

Bodster CIC enables anyone aged 5-90yrs to engage with our ponies on the ground(no riding involved) and learn how to communicate with ponies. this helps people gain self-esteem and confidence and see that they can succeed in life. we work with primary and secondary schools, unemployed people, people with mental health issues and depression and by showing them how to succeed by taking things slowly step by step (through leading and loose work with the ponies) they begin to see they can succeed in their lives. We offer volunteering, work experience and opportunities to complete accredited qualifications. By giving people time with ponies in a calm atmosphere they often open up about worries and so we can help them problem solve and also learn new skills both with the ponies and in nature.
