About this cause
Stevenage Football Club Foundation (Charity No: 1140006) is the official charity of Stevenage Football Club, which delivers a variety of sporting and educational based activities in order to help to improve the standard of living across Stevenage, North Hertfordshire, East Hertfordshire, Welwyn & Hatfield. The Foundation's work is built around two core principles: People & Potential We work on a number of projects with a variety of partners in order to deliver work that impacts those two principles. Vision “Providing opportunities for our community to realise their potential” Mission “To offer sustainable programmes that create active and healthier lifestyles, improve opportunities to reach both individual and collective potential, and positively impact all areas of our community”
How this cause brings people in the community together
Learning to cook as a family is a great way to spend time together, learn basic culinary skills, gain knowledge about healthy eating and give confidence to replicate. The aim is to bring families together to learn a key skill in life. 10 families are taking part throughout each course, this will bring a community atmosphere. Spending time with their families as well as socialising with others.
